Michelle Castner – The Castner Chronicles

Dear Ladies,

My how time flies!! I can’t believe it is August already! August makes me think of a new school year that we will soon be starting. Thanks to Laura and Kristen Nadaskay as well as Amy Rupert all of our school materials have safely arrived and we will be beginning this Monday, August 5. Hannah will begin 11th grade, Timothy 9th grade and Joshua 4th grade.

This past month was a very special one for my husband and me as it marked 25 years of marriage! It has been quite the adventure since the day I married him! We have a lot to be thankful for. We have lived on 3 continents, learned (and are still learning) 2 new cultures and languages, have been the parents of 5 children (one of those who is awaiting us in heaven) and we still love each other more than when we started and we are still serving The Lord! We were able to spend a very nice week together in Maun, Botswana enjoying an awesome game drive and boat safari!

I am still working with the young ladies that are the trainers at Curves. All 4 are doing the correspondence studies and 1 of them is doing a personal bible study. This past week, I started a new, personal Bible study with a lady named Linda. She started coming to the services here in Francistown 2 Sundays ago. She was looking for a church that would teach her the Word of God!! She came to the right place!

We are also enjoying having Kristen Nadaskay staying with us for a couple of months. She has already been a big help and encouragement to us!!

I hope you ladies have enjoyed your summer months. We are enjoying some cool, winter months before the rain and hot weather return.

Thank you for all your prayers and concern for our family!
Love,
Michelle
