Grace & Honor is an online publication of the Lehigh Valley Baptist Church
Promoting Biblical Living for Today's Christian Woman
It is our highest desire that this publication encourages and edifies ladies in their daily walk with the Lord and strengthens them in their God-given role as wives, mothers, daughters, and servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
All of our authors are either members of our church or missionary wives whose families we support. You can learn more about the authors by visiting their bio pages.
If you would like to know more about how you can know the Lord personally, you can request a free in-home Bible study here.
What We Believe:
A copy of our doctrinal statement may be obtained on our church website.
Grace & Honor originally began as The Apron and the Sword in 1984. This ladies paper was started for just the ladies of our church, and printed bi-monthly for many years. Articles were written by the pastor's wife, missionaries we supported, and other ladies within the church.
In 2003, the paper received a major overhaul, both in design and name. The newly-named Grace & Honor remained a bi-monthly printed publication, famous for its flowerly logo and pink textured cover (so different from everything else we print!).
In 2008, the idea to turn our paper into a website gelled into a project. With a little bit of design initiative, some new columns and authors, we have stepped up our game, and now plan to publish online every week.
