Is there a prayer in your heart that you have long expected to be answered?
Perhaps it is something that seems so right and so just and so pleasing to God that you have almost demanded the answer.
But what would please God most?
That earthly relationship to be mended? Immediate relief from a disturbing situation? Or your own heart made more tender and gentle toward the will of God? So tender that you are willing to relinquish your own rights – even the right to having a specific prayer answered – in order that some sweeter purpose in the heart of God may be accomplished.
Give up – not to Satan and his devices – but give up to God. You may be surprised with victory.
