And only having known your mom for 17 years, I can attest this to be accurate… I have been “one of those ladies” who she has listened to, prayed with and given godly counsel to. I have had the pleasure of being at her Sunday School table and her dining room table. I have taught her material to a young women’s Sunday School in TN and have also quoted things she has told me; such as “Keep going on, keep seeking Him. God will be faithful to show you the truth about it.” I could go on and on. She will never know how much she means to me. You have a very noble aspiration, to be like your mother, Rachel…but I have a feeling you are well on your way. Your reaction of embarrassment would be the same as your mom but I venture to say your husband knows differently! God bless you as you become one very soon yourself!
