Sue’s April Update

March has been a delightful spring month at HBC. Sarah started a Ladies’ Bible Study, with our first lesson on the Peace of God. She was a bit nervous but she did a great job. I’m looking forward to our next study in April!

We had a much awaited new Spiritual birth this month. Lenny has been very close to Salvation numerous times in his life but we believe he finally gave his life to the Lord.  It’s so great to have a newborn Chrisitian around the church!!!

It was a joy and a challenge to have the Elams with us last week. I was able to help them out by giving them a couple of boxes of Abeka & Saxon school books.

Rachel and Alan were thrilled to be able to attend the Student Convention and thankful to be able to bring home a few medals. Praise God for the abilities He has given to all our young people 🙂

We finished off our month with a church dinner followed by our quarterly nursing home service made even more special as we were able to use the fact that Easter was just a week away.We had so many of our members there that the visitor’s parking lot was full!

Thanks so much for your prayers and financial assistance. We couldn’t make it without all of  you. Now that the snow it gone for this season, why not come over and see the work for yourself???

Love,

Sue Gable for all of us
